Katie Holmes?

I don't know what my problem is, but I can't take Katie Holmes seriously. I just think of her as Joey from Dawson's Creek. I can't get past it. She definitely needs to work on her lip synching skills, but I will say I think she looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Wow, great makeup artist!

Did you just love seeing the Emmy winning performances? It made me miss all the old dancers. Especially Ivan. Don't ask me why I love that kid!

Now, onto the game!

Janette and Jason are going home.

I was surprised with Janette because I feel as though everyone really liked her. Congrats to Mikelle and Katie M. for guessing correctly on those 2 going home.

Tyson H. has taken first place for the week, but there are a few of you who really are catching up. Nicole C. (our leader for the past couple of weeks) was out of town, so she blindly chose her bottom 2...but she is still close.

Also, Mikelle, Shea, and Tracy are super close!

We only have 2 more weeks until the finale!!!

July 9th Results

Did anyone else love last night's episode? I am already so excited for next week. We are really getting down to the good dancers and I couldn't be happier!

It was sad to say goodbye to PHILLIP and CAITLIN (well not really Caitlin for me, but others like her).

What do you think about next season starting in the fall? I am not sure I like that! I always look forward to SYTYCD in the summer because there is not much else on TV. I was already planning on cutting out some shows for the fall...this is not going to help!

July 2nd Results...

Why, why, why were Kayla and Kupono in the bottom 3? They were my favorite of the night. Thank you Mia Michaels for your support (and I loved Mia's hair styled that way). Here is a recap just in case you missed it.

I did not like Vitolio's solo one bit. It just made me nervous. But I did like that he danced to Rascal Flatts. Random, but I liked it.

Kupono's was ok for me, and I loved Phillip's.

I did not love Karla's or Kayla's. Jeanine's was A-mazing!

Tonight's show was just ok for me. Do I sound like Mary Murphy yet? Really though, I had a few favorites (Randi/Evan, Ade/Melissa, Kayla/Kupono)....but I've already forgotten the rest and I just finished the show a few minutes ago! I am not the biggest fan of Tony Blasil (her plastic surgery makes me nervous), but I did like her comments.  Nigel's jacket was not working for him at all.  He just looked out of place in it.  

It will be interesting to see who is in the bottom 3 tomorrow.  After last week I realized you just never know!  Did anyone else feel sorry for Phillip and Jeanine with all those feathers?  I was so scared they were going to choke on them.  And then they were stuck to Phillip's lips and in Jeanine's hair...it was too much for me!  

Anyway, DON'T FORGET TO EMAIL ME YOUR BOTTOM 2!

Week 2 Results MAX & ASHLEY eliminated.

Here's the recap:

Mia Michaels is crazy! I was loving the suits with the Polynesian flair. I had trouble differentiating between the girls though. I couldn't tell who they were with those long, slicked-back ponytails. I love me a good Stevie Wonder song (I am my father's daughter), so overall I liked the dance. Some of those boys were killing it!

I was most shocked that Kayla and Max were in the bottom 3 couples! But it just goes to show that even if the judges like people, it's still up to America at this point.

I am shocked that MAX and ASHLEY went home. It has actually gotten me even more excited because you never know who is going to go home!

Thanks everyone for submitting you picks. You can click on the link to the right to see all the standings. It's interesting to see who everyone picked and who they like as dancers. Let me tell you...I was getting so confused before I actually picked my top 4 and bottom 2 after seeing everyone's picks. I kept thinking, "well, she likes them...maybe I should too!". It was too funny. I finally just went with my gut, so we'll see!
